About Me
Originally from British Columbia, I stumbled into the world of theatre when I impulsively signed up for improv classes at 24. I am now an actor/improviser based in Seattle and am currently pursuing my MFA in acting at the University of Washington.
As a creative, I believe in transformative storytelling in all its forms and its lasting ability to travel through generations and communities. To that end, I am eager to explore art that creates resonance and leaves a lasting positive impact on audiences. As a history buff, I’m also inspired by stories from the past to create work that fosters a better future and elevates voices that are often overlooked. As an experienced acting and improv teacher, I’m passionate about helping students find their own power and joy on stage.
I’m proud to be an ensemble member and teaching artist at Jet City Improv and a company member with Dacha Theatre. My recent UW School of Drama credits include Vanity Fair, The Caucasian Chalk Circle, The Winter’s Tale, and Omnia Break Room. Currently, I’m developing a new Archetype journey inspired by Korean Pottery Traditions, and my solo show, The Ballad of Freddie Ohr.
In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, cheering on the Huskies, and reminding everyone that I am Canadian.
